This will increase energy efficiency and accessibility to this popular downtown St Marys gathering place, especially for those with mobility limitations.

Bach Music Festival of South Huron
$11,200 over one year to hire part-time staff to present concert series of classical music in Exeter and enhance the organizational development of the Festival.

Bruce Peninsula Biosphere Association
$98,200 over two years to conduct a series of demonstration and education activities and create measurable improvements related to water quality. The Association will establish a water quality monitoring program and develop an integrated Watershed Plan for the two major rivers in the Bruce Peninsula. The project will engage farmers, community partners, the public and watershed residents.

Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum
$60,000 over one year to hire consultants short term to develop plans for strengthening board capacity. Board members will be able to better achieve the museum's mandate of creating sports exhibits and offering programs that enhance physical activity and contribute to the health and prosperity of the Town of St. Marys.

Canadian Mental Health Assoc Grey Bruce Branch, as lead organization on this collaborative
$63,600 over one year to launch www.wesforyouthonline.ca, an online place for youth to express themselves and receive immediate support from highly-trained online professional, non-judgemental youth counsellors. The website and online therapy will enhance the health and well-being of youth, raise awareness of mental and emotional wellness, and be a resource for both teens and parents in Bruce and Grey counties.

Chepstow Lions Foundation
$30,000 over one year to complete renovations that will increase the community hall capacity to 250 people, addressing the growing need for a larger gathering space in this small rural community within Bruce County.

Community Living Owen Sound and District
$17,700 over one year to renovate both the front and side entrances of the organization's Port Elgin building to provide barrier-free access and improve safety for all community members served in the Saugeen Shores area.

Grey Highlands Chamber of Commerce
$54,200 over one year to help create partnerships between farmers and chefs and promote locally-grown food in Grey County. A volunteer steering committee of chefs and farmers will host bi-annual "From Farm Gate to Chef's Plate" forums and develop the event's capacity to become an independent organization.

$41,100 over one year to create two regulation-sized soccer fields with permanent posts and accessible surfacing, using the parking area, to provide barrier-free pathways and enhance opportunities for physical activity for all children and youth in this rural community.

$26,900 over two years to hire a part-time coordinator to build the capacity of the Society and broaden community use of this rural facility located in the northeast region of Perth County.

Municipality of Central Huron, as lead organization on this collaborative
$53,000 over one year to hire a project coordinator to identify opportunities for youth social entrepreneurship, volunteer recruitment and new active living programs throughout the small, rural communities within the central region of Huron County.

$15,000 over one year to renovate existing washrooms and install power door operators at the main entrance of the Winthrop Park facility to provide full independent access for all community members, especially those with mobility limitations.

North Perth Lacrosse Association Inc.
$8,000 over one year to purchase specialized lacrosse equipment to comply with new regulations and ensure safe participation for over 150 local players aged 4 to 21 from Huron and Perth counties.

Ontario Pork Congress, as lead organization on this collaborative
$9,100 over one year to develop a comprehensive website and purchase video equipment that will be shared between local agriculture and arts groups in Stratford. This new technology will improve the educational and promotional aspects of events celebrating pork and cultural experiences.

Owen Sound and Area Seniors Centre
$60,100 over two years to hire a part-time executive director to help develop the infrastructure, programs, activities and resources of this newly incorporated organization in order to meet the needs of local older adults.

Owen Sound Little Theatre
$23,500 over one year to support renovations that are part of The Last Stage Standing Centennial Renewal Project celebrating the 100th anniversary of Owen Sound's Roxy Theatre. Upgrades will include installing a window showcasing community events and new doors on the facade of the building and providing easier access to the rear entrance from the parking lot.

Saugeen Valley Children's Safety Village
$62,500 over one year to hire an administrator to coordinate committee meetings and volunteer training and day-to-day activities during the building, and leading up to the opening, of the first rural children's safety village in Southwestern Ontario. It will be located at the Sulphur Springs Conservation area in the Municipality of West Grey.

St. Andrew's United Church - Sauble Beach
$15,000 over one year to complete upgrades and install an exterior ramp with a new front door at Hepworth Community Hall to improve accessibility for all community members, especially those with mobility limitations. This separate building, located next to the church, is not used for religious services.

Stratford Tennis Club
$46,300 over one year to purchase equipment and complete improvements to fix overhead lights, the clubhouse deck and the practice wall area at the tennis courts to provide safe, affordable physical activities to local residents.

The Colleen Lantz Memorial Run 4 Youth Inc.
$5,300 over one year to purchase fencing, accessories and a canopy to make the start/finish area of the Run safer. The annual event is held in Neustadt and includes different running and walking challenges. Funds raised during the event are donated to local youth-focused organizations and programs.

Town of Blue Mountains, as lead organization on this collaborative
$15,000 over one year to install an outdoor circuit of fitness equipment on the grounds of the Beaver Valley Community School in Thornbury. The equipment will provide free access to physical activity for all members of the community.

United Way of Bruce Grey, as lead organization on this collaborative
$61,600 over two years to improve children and youth services, and develop strategic plans to address poverty in Grey and Bruce counties. The Grey Bruce Children's Alliance and the Bruce Grey Poverty Stakeholders Network will engage existing networks and planning tables that deal with the same issues so all participants can find collaborative ways to work more effectively.

Women's House Serving Bruce & Grey
$45,000 over one year to complete upgrades to the kitchen and laundry areas, improving accessibility and independence for women with mobility limitations staying at this Kincardine shelter.

$55,000 over two years to expand the pilot prevention project to reach local Aboriginal youth at risk in Saugeen through a combination of language and cultural teachings and horse-related activities. This First-Nation-specific program model will be developed to share with other Aboriginal communities.

Community Futures Development Corporation of Perth County, as lead organization on this collaborative
$25,000 over six months to complete a feasibility study that will strengthen the ability of Savour Stratford Perth County to enhance culinary initiatives with farmers, producers, retailers and other community partners for local families.

Durham Art Gallery
$51,600 over one year to host Common Pulse 2: A Disability Arts Festival, a month-long festival taking place in Durham and nearby communities. It will bring together differently-abled artists, youth and community members through arts activities and cultural events. Presentations on disability and art-making will be given by educators, students, researchers, designers, artists and curators throughout September 2013.

Georgian Bay Folk Society
$40,700 over one year to expand year-round arts programming in Grey and Bruce counties. Newly created local and regional partnerships will offer a series of artistic outreach programs, including artisan workshops, a one-week Youth Arts camp, and expansion of the existing Youth Discovery Series and the Creative Aging Project with The Quilted Word.

Holland Centre & Williamsford District Lions Club
$35,200 over one year to replace the condenser for two curling ice sheets with a new smaller unit that will reduce energy consumption and costs. Designated parking spots and a barrier-free path of travel for people with mobility issues will be created in the parking lot of the Williamsford Community Centre.

Huron County Food Bank Distribution Centre Inc.
$49,200 over two years to hire a staff person to develop the organizational capacity of this newly emerging Centre to address the growing food security needs of communities within this county.

Maitland Country Club
$75,000 over one year to complete capital improvements for the curling rink and tennis courts that will provide safer, affordable physical activities to residents in Goderich and surrounding area.

Marsh Street Community Centre
$55,200 over one year to bring the Clarksburg-based building up to the standards of the Ontario Fire Code and Building Code. A fire alarm system, a new range and a vent/fire suppression hood in the kitchen will be installed and a new audio and video equipment will be set up for use by individuals, art shows, businesses and community groups.

Municipality of Huron East
$65,900 over one year to install an exterior ramp, power door operators and a unisex washroom at the Brussels Public Library to improve accessibility for all community members, especially those with mobility limitations.

Municipality of North Perth
$46,900 over one year to connect North Perth Public Library to the Perth County Information Network so library collections and electronic resources can easily be shared between all public library branches throughout the County of Perth. Rural library patrons will have access to a collection of over 193,000 items.

$25,000 over two years to hire a part-time consultant and a project coordinator to develop and implement a plan for strengthening the Character Council's ability to expand membership and scope of services to all community members making schools, workplaces and public places bully free,

$17,700 over one year to install new bleachers and playground equipment in Fullarton Centennial Park to enhance community safety and physical activity for all children and their families.

Off the Wall Stratford Artists Alliance
$16,000 over one year to hire part-time staff to develop and promote a theatre arts production program for youth to enhance their skills in behind-the-scene set design and construction.

Parks Lawn Bowling Club
$10,900 over one year to purchase equipment and upgrade the bowling green surface to improve public safety and broaden community use of the lawn bowling facilities in the Town of St. Marys.

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 102 - Walkerton
$60,000 over one year to complete kitchen renovations to improve public safety and enhance the sustainability of the facility in order to meet community needs.

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 295 - Paisley
$44,700 over one year to install a high-efficiency furnace and 15 new windows in this designated heritage building to enhance energy efficiency and reduce negative environmental impact.

Stratford Civic Orchestra
$60,000 over two years to hire a part-time administrator to build organizational stability and expand orchestral music programs into the rural areas of Perth County.

Town of Blue Mountains
$5,900 over one year to redevelop the L.E. Shore Memorial Library (Thornbury) website to make it accessible to all. It will be fully compliant with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and serve a wide range of people with a disability.

Town of Saugeen Shores
$60,000 over one year to replace the bandshell at Fairy Lake Park for improved safety. This will enhance the quality of performances and other cultural activities offered in Southampton.

Wiarton & District Agricultural Society
$14,800 over one year to install new kitchen appliances and equipment that meet current health and safety standards in the Wiarton Community Centre. Improvements will enhance community use for all individuals, volunteers and community groups in South Bruce Peninsula.

$36,300 over three years to deliver culturally appropriate programs for youth in this First Nation community to learn traditional arts and craft skills from their elders.

Dyers Bay Resort Association
$15,000 over one year to enhance the energy efficiency and accessibility of the local community centre by installing a new front entrance, windows and flooring and completing other capital improvements.

Festival of Northern Lights Inc.
$31,400 over one year to rejuvenate and expand Owen Sound's 25-year-old Festival of Northern Lights, the largest holiday event in central Ontario and the third largest in the province. Illuminated displays and tree lighting will be upgraded. Events will include children's programs and Stories from Under the White Blanket, which will involve story tellers, drumming, food and crafts that illustrate Aboriginal culture.

Georgian Bay Concert Choir
$40,000 over two years to enhance the ability of male singers in Grey and Bruce counties to participate in and enjoy the experience of performing choral music. Two professional choral section leads, a strong tenor and bass or baritone will provide ear training, music reading and vocal techniques training to current and new members.

Georgian Bay Treatment Centre
$51,200 over one year to conduct a needs analysis and develop a clinical and a business plan for the creation of the first in-patient treatment centre for youth in Grey and Bruce counties. The facility will serve youth with complex substance use or abuse disorders who are typically unsuccessful in overcoming their dependence of alcohol or other illicit drugs in less intensive out-patient treatment environments.

Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce
$25,000 over six months to hire a Construction Manager who will plan, direct and supervise the construction of four affordable homes in Hanover and ensure the safety of hundreds of volunteers. This project is part of the organization's 40th anniversary in 2012.

Habitat for Humanity Stratford Perth
$38,500 over one year to complete renovations to bring the administrative offices of the organization under one roof within the ReStore in Stratford. Other improvements include the creation of volunteer training space and the installation of a universal, barrier-free washroom making the building accessible to all.

Lake Huron Learning Collaborative
$7,600 over one year to increase technological capacity for the organization and residents of Huron and Bruce counties by installing computer labs in Kincardine and Goderich. Virtual volunteer development meetings can be conducted across the two counties.

Listowel Agricultural Society
$10,000 over one year to increase the safety and security of the fairgrounds by installing fencing around the entire area.

Maadookii Seniors Group
$82,900 over two years to hire a manager to implement strategic plan objectives and build organizational capacity so that more culturally relevant programs and services can be offered to elders living in Cape Croker at Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation.

Meaford Scarecrow Invasion and Family Festival
$6,900 over one year to buy a sound system for use during the Festival and year-round by other community groups. Funding will also cover the purchase of reusable directional signage and banners to be placed around the town to raise awareness of, and bring more visitors to, this popular annual fall festival that involves the entire community.

Municipality of Huron East
$9,100 over one year to install power door operators throughout the Seaforth and District Community Centre to provide full independent access for all community members, especially those with mobility limitations.

Owen Sound Revolver Club Inc.
$33,800 over one year to bring running water to Grey County's only indoor revolver and handgun range. The project includes drilling a well, installing a septic system and building an accessible washroom. With these improvements, more individuals on a waiting list will take out memberships, youth groups will have access to age-appropriate sessions and the Club will be able to host inter-club competitions.

Royal Canadian Legion Branch 144 - Chesley
$11,000 over one year to enhance the energy efficiency and accessibility of the Legion Hall by installing a new furnace and renovating a washroom.

Separated town of St. Marys
$60,000 over one year to purchase and install manufactured skateboard equipment to create a new Xpark that will enhance safety and encourage more children and youth to use this designated space for physical activity.

South Huron Optimist Club
$15,000 over one year to enhance community safety and physical activity in Centralia for children and their families by installing new playground equipment.

St. John Council for Ontario - Hanover Branch
$60,000 over one year to build an accessible unisex washroom and increase the number of meeting and training rooms at the organization's facility in Owen Sound. With these upgrades, St. John Ambulance will have a facility available for use by other community groups and will be able to increase the number and type of training courses for First Aid and CPR, including sessions for seniors and youth.

Stratford Kiwanis Music Festival
$36,000 over one year to purchase lighting, sound and stage equipment that will be shared among local organizations that are open to youth and members from the broader community interested in performing arts pursuits.

The Rotary Club of Mildmay, Ontario Canada
$12,000 over one year to enhance accessibility and physical activity for all children and their families at the Rotary Park by installing new accessible playground equipment.
